Ship faster with Cursor and Claude Code without losing the architecture

## The bottleneck moved from typing to judgment

AI tools generate code faster than any team can review it. The teams that benefit are the ones whose engineers can write precise context, recognize a leaking boundary in generated code, and explain why a design decision holds. Those are teachable skills, and they are the ones I teach.

## What we work on

- **Context engineering.** Rules, contracts and architecture decisions written once and generated per tool (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex), plus verification agents that check work against the contract.
- **Review discipline.** How to read generated code for coupling, hidden state, missing failure handling and security gaps, quickly.
- **Architecture literacy.** Boundaries, data ownership, coupling, failure modes and observability, taught on your own system rather than on slides.
- **GraphQL.** Schema design, federation patterns, query optimization, subscriptions and testing.
- **Go.** Concurrency patterns, service structure, error handling, benchmarking and production deployment.
- **Compliance foundations.** HIPAA, PCI-DSS and SOC 2 controls, audit logging and security practices for teams entering regulated work.

Teams adopting GraphQL or Go for the first time, engineers moving from Node or Python to Go, tech leads who need to review AI-generated code with confidence, and teams preparing for regulated-industry work. ## Questions

**Is this AI training or architecture training?**

Both, because in 2026 they are the same skill. A team that writes good context files, reviews generated code against explicit boundaries and knows why a design holds gets more out of Cursor or Claude Code than a team that prompts harder.

**What does context engineering mean in practice?**

Writing the rules, contracts and architecture decisions once, in a tool-agnostic form, and generating the per-tool files from it, so switching between Cursor, Claude Code and Codex is a script instead of a rewrite. The pattern is written up in the Writing section of this site.

**Do you still teach GraphQL and Go?**

Yes. Schema design, federation, query performance, Go concurrency and service structure remain the core, and they are exactly the topics AI tools get subtly wrong without a reviewer who knows better.

**What formats are available?**

One-to-one sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, half-day or full-day team workshops with a custom curriculum, and a monthly retainer with code review and architecture support between sessions.
